Information about Flood Debris and County and State EMA resources

Items should allow for one person to be able to collect the items and place in the refuse truck. If the items/bundles are not under 50 pounds, they may not be collected. Nails in lumber or drywall will not be collected for safety reasons. Please make an effort to keep the streets clear of additional vehicles and trucks so the crews will have direct access to materials at the curb. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

County and State Information

The Village has been working in partnership with the Lake County Emergency Agency (LCEMA) and the State of Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).  Both agencies have included information about flood FAQs and are encouraging residents to fill out a form to report their damage.  This will allow for the collection of the data in the event it is needed for Federal assistance. Please complete this form.  A more detailed update from the County is available in the link below.
