Village Hall and Non-Essential Buildings Re-opening

During the last few months Village Hall and all non-essential buildings have remained closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These buildings will re-open to the public on Monday, July 27. Hours of operation will be Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Safety measures such as glass at the business counter have been installed to protect the public and staff. Visitors are required to wear a mask. The community is encouraged to continue to use contactless methods of conducting Village business such as online payments and use of the Village Hall drop box. Non-cash payments are preferred for any business transactions at this time. The Libertyville Sports Complex will remain closed due to Restore Illinois Phase 4 restrictions.

Adler Playground is Open

Adler Playground is officially open! Construction of the new playground is complete. The playground includes a pour-in-play rubber surface path throughout the playground for ADA accessibility, numerous slides, a play area for both 2-5 year olds and 5-12 year olds, a saucer swing, zip line, several climbing features and ground level music play options. Please remember that playgrounds are not sanitized. When using the playgrounds please sanitize hands before and after use and socially distance.

Be a Mask Hero

As a reminder, masks are required when in public and social distancing is not possible. When wearing a mask please ensure that the mask covers both your nose and mouth.

Shop Local

July is Independent Retailer Month! Please continue to Shop Local, when possible. The Village’s website includes a business directory where you can find a local business to meet your needs. Many businesses have in-person hours as well as online or phone order options. Remember to Shop Local!
