Santa Parade

This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are bringing Santa to you! Santa will make his appearance on every street in the Village over a 4 day period.

The parade will begin for each section at 3:00 p.m. and will continue until Santa has arrived on the last street in the section that day. Dates may be subject to change due to inclement weather.

A Santa tracker map is available on the Village's website so you can see when he is getting closer to your home. Visit www.libertyville.com/santa to watch for him. Grab your blankets, holiday cookies, hot chocolate and chairs to watch as Santa goes by your house!

-Section 1: November 28th- Beginning at Lynn Cr. and ending at Woodland Rd
-Section 2: November 29th- Beginning at Parkview Dr. and ending at Ashbury Ln.
-Section 3: December 5th- Beginning at East Sunnyside Ave. and ending at N. Artauis Pkwy.
-Section 4: December 6th- Beginning at Dymond Rd. and ending at Greentree Pkwy.

Light up Libertyville

As you begin to plan for the holiday season let's Light Up Libertyville! This year help to make Libertyville a destination for holiday lights. Virtual Visit With Santa

ENJOY a five minute talk with Santa at the North Pole. Santa is very busy and has set aside time to talk with you.

Once registered an email will be sent to set up your designated virtual visit time, followed by a questionnaire, and then finally the virtual link the day before. Santa is looking forward to seeing and speaking with all the good children in Libertyville. Sign up NOW here.

Small Group Discussions

There are only a few available time slots left! Join the Village's Human Relations Commission for a small-group meeting with Libertyville residents to hear about your experiences and ideas. The following meeting topic and dates are still available:

Access to Cultural Opportunities and Events (Meeting Dates- November 16th and 19th)

Registration is required to participate in a meeting. Click here to register

All meetings will be held online and limited to 10 people per meeting. If you would prefer a Spanish-language session, please indicate that on the sign-up form.

At the completion of all the sessions, we will publish a summary of what we learned that we will share with the public. The names of meeting participants will not be published.
