The Lake County Health Department has created a registration portal for Lake County residents to register for notifications for when it is time to make an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine. To register for notifications click here.

Lake County Restaurant Rally

Visit Lake County is celebrating the gradual re-opening of restaurants with Lake County Restaurant Rally running February 26 - March 7, 2021. There are many ways to support YOUR favorite local restaurants during the Restaurant Rally:

Grab a Bite- Return to your favorite restaurant safely or try a new dining experience. RSVP indoors, outdoors or get a feast to go.

Toast with Libations- Stop in for a taste, grab packaged Lake County Libation Trail beverages.

Spend Dollars Locally- "Go Direct" and place your carryout orders directly with the restaurant. While there, purchase gift cards for family and friends throughout 2021.

Spread the Word- "Check-in" and/or tag the business's social media account when you visit restaurants. Post positive reviews, photos or videos!

Show your Love- Tip your servers and delivery drivers more than you'd normally give. Order a meal for delivery to your favorite charity or first responders.

Rockland Road Reconstruction Project Receives Award

The recent Rockland Road Reconstruction project received an American Public Works Association (APWA) award as the top transportation project between $5M and $25M!

The APWA Public Works Project of the Year Award was established to promote excellence in the management and administration of public works projects by recognizing the alliance between the managing agency, the consultant/architect/engineer, and the contractor who, working together, complete public works projects.
