Charles Brown Park Playground Open

The Charles Brown Park playground is officially open for play! Yay!! The striping of the basketball court/pickle ball court and hoop installation will be finished in the next few weeks. Charles Brown Park is located at 1015 Dawes. To learn more about all of the Village's parks click here. Did you know that the new park includes a fun, interactive play technology called Biba games. Back to Business Grant

As part of Governor JB Pritzker’s overall economic recovery strategy, the $250 million Back to Business (B2B) grant program aims to deploy small businesses recovery grants for those hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds are dispersed as a grant which does not need to be repaid. The grant targets businesses who have yet to qualify for state funding or federal assistance (including the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF), Business Interruption Grant (BIG), Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG), etc). Grants range from $5,000 to $150,000 per business ($250,000 for hotels) and can be used to cover a wide range of operations/staff/overhead costs. To learn more click here.

MainStreet Annual Golf Outing- Last Chance to Register!

Hurry -- register now for the 16th Annual MainStreet Libertyville Golf Outing to be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at White Deer Run Golf Club. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. and golf begins at 10:30 a.m. Price includes a round of golf with cart, catered lunch, beverages, cocktail reception and dinner. MainStreet's Twilight Shuffle 5K

It's back, and it’s live -- the Twilight Shuffle 5K. Come out and enjoy a 3.12-mile run through one of the most scenic (yet hilly) downtown Libertyville neighborhoods in support of MainStreet Libertyville as local fans happily cheer you on. The race is professionally chip-timed; runners must be age nine or older to participate. Each participant will receive a Twilight Shuffle 5K technical fabric t-shirt.The race will occur on Saturday, September 4. Register online here.
