Police Department Pink Patch Project Raises $3850 for Breast Cancer

During the month of October, the Libertyville Police Department launched its first fundraising event with the Pink Patch Project in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Advocate Condell's Cancer Care Services. The Village is proud to announce that this inaugural effort raised $3850! Congratulations to the Libertyville Police Department and Libertyville community for such a successful event!

Veterans Day Remembrance Event

Veterans Day Breakfast at the Libertyville Senior Center

Recognize our local veterans at a Veterans Day Remembrance Event at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 11th hosted by the Libertyville Senior Council and StoryPoint Senior Living. Register by phone at 847-247-7659 by 12:00 p.m. on November 8th to enjoy a free continental breakfast, flag ceremony by the Libertyville VFW, and a presentation on women in the military.

COOL Ministries Drop-Off Box

COOL Ministries Drop-Off Box for Veterans

The Village is hosting a COOL Ministries drop-off box to collect toiletries for veterans in need! COOL provides assistance to over 100 local veterans a month through its food pantry and supply drives. The drop-off box is available at the Village Hall, 118 W. GLMV 2nd Annual Coats for Vets

GLMV 2nd Annual Coats for Vets

As winter grows near, the 2nd Annual GLMV Coats For Vets is nearing its close! The GLMV Chamber of Commerce invites all to join them in collecting old, slightly worn, or new winter coats and other seasonal outerwear for local veterans in need and their families. Donations can be dropped off through November 16th, 2021. Click here for drop-off locations.

MainStreet Libertyville Design Committee Book Launch Party

Join MainStreet Libertyville in celebrating its first-ever hardback coffee table book, Lasting Impressions: Historic Homes of Libertyville at its Book Launch Party on Sunday, November 21st, 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Libertyville Civic Center. Meet the authors and photographer and enjoy light appetizers, drinks, and dessert. The event is free to attend with books available to purchase for $50. Books are also available for purchase here.
