Charles Brown Park Ribbon Cutting & Arbor Day Planting

Join the Village of Libertyville as we celebrate the renovation of Charles Brown Park! Check out the park's new additions at 10:30 am on April 30th at 1015 Dawes St.

The park features a brand new playground, resurfaced basketball courts, and pickleball striping. In honor of Arbor Day, the Village will also be planting a Kentucky coffeetree to commemorate the occasion.

*NOTE: This event was rescheduled from 2021 due to inclement weather.

Libertyville Recreation Bike Resale

Looking to make space in your garage or shed? Kids outgrow their bikes from last year? The Bike Resale is for you! Drop off unwanted bikes to Libertyville Recreation at Adler Lodge between 4 pm and 8 pm TODAY, April 22nd. The sale runs from 8 am to 11 am on April 23rd and all unsold bikes are picked up from 11 am to noon. For questions, call 847-918-7275.

LPD Autism Acceptance Month

Autism Acceptance Month with the Libertyville Police Department

In recognition of Autism Acceptance Month, the Libertyville Police Department is selling custom patches throughout the month of April. Officers also have the option to wear two patches on their uniform shirts!

Patches are available for purchase for $10 each from the Records Department at 200 E. Cook Ave. from 7 am to 9 pm, Monday through Friday. Proceeds will be used to buy items beneficial to autistic students in D70! For details, click here.

GLMV Chamber "Cars & Jewels" Gala

Grab your crew and race over to the GLMV Annual Membership Recognition Gala from 6 to 10 pm on Saturday, April 23rd. Hosted by Tesla Libertyville, this year's theme "Cars & Jewels" includes the chance to win jewelry from Rollands Jewelers and a weekend drive from Tesla Motors!

Libertyville Rotary 2nd Annual Recycling Event

Sunrise Rotary 2nd Annual Recycling Event

The Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club is partnering with Blue Star Recyclers and Sunset Foods to host its 2nd Annual Electronics Recycling Collection event. The drop-off event will take place from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday, April 30th at Sunset Foods, 1451 Peterson Rd. Residents also have the option to schedule an at-home pick-up for large or heavy items only the week of May 2nd.

Join Mayor Johnson for the grand opening event at RUSH Physical Therapy Libertyville, 1585 N. Milwaukee Ave. Suite 101! Grand opening festivities begin at 3 pm with a ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 4 pm.

Senior Center "See, Taste, Smell" Trip

Senior Center "See, Taste, and Smell" Trip

Ring in spring with a trip to the Tulip Festival at Richardson Adventure Farm! Register today for the See, Taste, and Smell Trip on Tuesday, May 3rd. $30 secures your bus seat, entry to the festival, and dessert at Lovin Over Cakery Cafe. Food trucks and the gift shop will be open for lunch, wine tasting, fudge, and special buys. Bus leaves at 10:30 am and will return by 3:30 pm.
