Village of Libertyville Trick or Treating

Get your candy ready! This year's trick or treating festivities will fall on Monday, October 31st from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Head out in costume and collect spooky treats from your neighbors!

Trunk or Treat with Libertyville Recreation

Trick or treat...with trunks! Stop at the Adler Lodge parking lot from 10 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, October 29th for Trunk or Treat! Collect candy from local businesses, marvel at Halloween-decorated trunks, and play carnival games!

This event is free to the public - no registration required!

Police Department Pink Patch Project

For its second year, the Libertyville Police Department is participating in the Pink Patch Project! Patrol Officers and Community Service Officers are invited to wear a commemorative pink patch during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Residents and supporters may also buy their own pink patch for a minimum $10 donation until October 31st. For details, click here.

Celebrate First Friday with MainStreet Libertyville

Support your local downtown and join MainStreet Libertyville for First Friday on Friday, November 4th! Enjoy refreshments, special discounts, and exclusive shopping features as shops stay open late. Close out the night with dinner at one of Libertyville's award-winning restaurants!

Sunrise Rotary Autumn Blast

Join Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club on October 29th for their Autumn Blast: Wine, Spirits, and Cigar Festival. With wine and spirits curated by MainStreet Social and select cigars by Neumann's Cigars & More, the net proceeds from the event and raffle ticket sales will support the Rotary Club Foundation.

Sustain Libertyville's Pumpkin Composting Event

The Libertyville Sustain Commission invites you to its annual Pumpkin Smash composting event! From 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 12th, drop off your pumpkins and gourds in the Adler Pool parking lot for collection to be composted.

New this year, BYOB (Bring Your Own Bucket) for compost on site! Residents may collect up to 20 gallons of compost from SWALCO to take home. Shovels will be provided!

Wondering which wine to pair with ham, beef, turkey, or seafood? Join Susie Whipple of Tasteful Adventures at a Holiday Food and Wine Tasting on Tuesday, November 8th! From 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Susie will walk you through the perfect pairings for a successful holiday dinner.

SWALCO's Shred and Seeds

Need to rid your files of old documents? Stop by SWALCO's Shred and Seeds Event on November 5th! Visit the Mundelein Village Hall, 300 Plaza Circle, any time between 10 am and 1 pm to drop off documents for shredding. Free seed packets will be given to each vehicle as supplies last!

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in Lake County

Do your part to reduce overdose and addiction by turning in unneeded medications on Take Back Day! From 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, October 29th, collection sites across the county will participate in medication drop-off.
