After a year of calm in Whoville, the Grinch is back to his old ways and has again chosen Libertyville as his playground! Keep your eyes peeled for his whereabouts in Libertyville parks with special clues released each week.

Mayor Johnson Closes Out National Native American Heritage Month

At the October 25th Village Board meeting, Mayor Johnson signed a proclamation designating November 2022 as National Native American Heritage Month. This is part of a continuous effort to recognize heritage months in Libertyville.

Drop Your Letters to Santa's Mailbox

Santa's mailbox is officially open for letters! Now through December 20th, drop off your note to Santa at one of his mailboxes at Village Hall (118 W. Cook Ave.) or Riverside Park (870 Country Club Dr.). Make sure to include a return address so he can send you a personalized response!

No postage required - Santa's elves will pick up his deliveries.

Senior Center Holiday Murder Mystery Lunch

WHODUNNIT? Join the Libertyville Senior Center for a Holiday Murder Mystery Lunch at noon on Friday, December 9th! Work to solve the crime as you dine on a three course meal of chicken or salmon, roasted potatoes, asparagus, salad, and dessert.

Libertyville Historical Society's Victorian Christmas Open House

Continuing an over-fifty year Libertyville tradition, the Libertyville Historical Society welcomes visitors to experience a Victorian Christmas at the Ansel B. Cook Home.

Both floors of the Cook Home will be open on Saturday, December 3rd and 10th. Suggested donations for the tour are $2/adults, $1/seniors and youth ages 5-18.

The Workshop, a technology center housed in the library, features a number of tech devices to put your small business on the map.
