Public Works Department Receives APWA Accreditation

The Village is proud to announce that the Libertyville Public Works Department has received full accreditation by the American Public Works Association (APWA) for the 5th time! Public Works staff spearheads road maintenance, wastewater treatment, and - you guessed it - snow management!

This recognition formally verifies the full compliance of the department with APWA standards and expectations and emphasizes the excellence of a public works agency, its programs, and its employees. Libertyville is one of only eight APWA-accredited agencies in the state! The Village is grateful to the Libertyville Public Works team for their dedication to the community.
