Mayor Johnson Recognizes Black History Month

In recognition of history and culture, Mayor Johnson has issued an official proclamation for the record regarding Black History Month. Started in 2022, this is part of an effort for continued recognition of heritage months in Libertyville.

Libertyville Recreation Summer Program Guide

Summer is right around the corner! Libertyville Recreation's Summer Program Guide will go live on Wednesday, March 8th. Resident registration will begin at 8:30 am on Wednesday, March 15th; non-resident registration will begin at 8:30 am on Wednesday, March 22nd.

Adler Arts Center Youth Art Month Exhibition

Know a budding artist in grades K-12? The Adler Arts Center is now accepting submissions for its Youth Art Month Exhibition! The show is open to any and all students who would like to showcase their work and participation is free.

Sunrise Rotary Second City Event

Live from Libertyville...it's SECOND CITY! Join the Sunrise Rotary Club with a night of comedy with Second City on Saturday, March 11th at the Libertyville High School auditorium. The show will be followed by an exclusive after party at Mickey Finn's. All proceeds benefit local charities.

Senior Center Cabaret Trip

Turn back the clock to 1956 for an intimate cabaret performance with the greatest jazz vocalist of all-time, Billie Holiday. The Libertyville Senior Center will visit the Mercury Theater Venus Cabaret Stage for Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill on Thursday, March 2nd. Bus will leave at 11 am and return by 5 pm. Tickets are $80 and include lunch, admission, and transportation.

Green Living Fair Returns for 2023

The Lake County Green Living Fair is back! From 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 15th, visit the University Center of Lake County, Grayslake for sustainable resources including gardening, composting, solar energy, conservation, and recycling.

Small Business Virtaul Sales Workshops

Looking to hone your sales techniques for your small business?  Join the Lake County Small Business Development Center for "Sales Skills You Need to Master!" This workshop will highlight five keys to increasing your sales influence, sharpen your sales, and build your persuasion skills.
