Celebrating 30 Years of Tree City USA

The Village is excited to announce that it has been named a Tree City USA community for its 30th consecutive year! Coordinated by the Arbor Day Foundation, the Tree City USA program celebrates municipalities with outstanding tree services. The Village also received the Tree City USA Growth Award for the 7th time, acknowledging Libertyville's higher level of tree care and community engagement.

A huge thank you to our Village Arborist and Parks Supervisor, Dave Heurich, and the Parks maintenance staff for their dedication to preserving Libertyville's natural beauty!

Libertyville Recreation Summer Registration Open to Residents

Libertyville Recreation's Summer Program Guide is now live! Residents registration is now open. Non-resident registration will begin at 8:30 am on Wednesday, March 22nd.

Open House for Highlands Subdivision Flood Reduction Project

Phase 2 of the Highlands Subdivision Flood Reduction Project is slated to begin on or around April 3rd, 2023 and continue through November 2023.

An open house outlining the project will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday, March 22 at the Village of Libertyville Village Hall, 118 W. Cook Ave.

Adler Arts Center Youth Art Month Exhibition

The Adler Arts Center is showcasing its Youth Art Month Exhibition now through March 23rd!  The exhibit features creations of all mediums from area students of all ages.

Join the GLMV Chamber of Commerce at the 11th Annual Multi-Chamber Extreme Block Party, Family Expo, and Taste of the Towns! From 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday, March 18th, experience local vendors, food and beverage, raffles, and the World-Famous Traveling World of Reptiles Show! Event will be hosted at the Doubletree Hotel,  510 E. Rt. 83 in Mundelein.

Canlan Spring Break Hockey Camps

Keep your kids skating towards success with Canlan's Spring Break hockey camps! All skill levels are invited to hit the ice for full-day camps highlighting teamwork, perseverance, and creativity.

Senior Center Racine Day Trip

Join the Libertyville Senior Center for a visit up north! On Thursday, April 13th, tour the SC Johnson headquarters and research labs designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Lunch will take place on the lake before a tour of the Larsen Bakery, famous for its Kringle!

$45 includes lunch, tours, and transportation. Bus will leave at 9 am and return by 4 pm. To register, visit the Civic Center at 135 W. Church Street or call at 847-247-7659.

Small Business Virtual Workshops

The Lake County Small Business Development Center hosts regular workshops for small businesses. March's roster includes "Sales Tax Requirement for Small Business," "Technology Planning for Small Businesses," and "Build Business Credit and Stop Using Personal Guarantees."
