Village Vehicle Stickers Now on Sale

2023-2024 vehicle stickers are now on sale at the Village Hall, 118 W. Cook Ave., and online! All vehicles registered or housed in the Village are required to display a current year sticker on their windshields no later than May 1st, including those registered to area businesses. Stickers are $30 for cars and trucks and all revenue supports the repair of Village streets.

Subscribe to Yard Waste Pick-Up for Spring

Yard waste pick-up services resumed April 1st. A full season subscription is provided through Groot for $180 per season, running April 1st through October 14th. Subscription includes pick-up of six bags or containers a week.

Adler Arts Center Earth Day Celebration

Join the Adler Arts Center for a day of education & action in celebration of National Earth Day! From 2 pm to 4:30 pm on Saturday, April 29th, learn about food forests and the benefits of PawPaw trees, help with litter cleanup, repot organic veggies with Achaia Greens, learn about the history and importance of the Sugar Maple to indigenous people, and create a large mural installation using recycled bottle caps!

Get Moving with National Fitness Day

Get fit this spring with Libertyville fitness centers! Celebrate National Fitness Day with a full week of free guest passes at XSport Fitness, Anytime Fitness, Canlan Sports, LifeSport, and Advocate Condelle Medical Center Centre Club.

Guest passes are good May 1st through May 7th. Call your favorite fitness center to book in advance!

Openlands Sustainable Landscaping Consultations

Openlands, a nationally-accredited Illinois land trust, is now scheduling spring appointments to help homeowners, businesses, and institutions manage their properties in ways that support aesthetics, stormwater management, and ecological resilience. On-site, outdoor property visits are provided by a staff Landscape Ecologist. Recommendations are tailored to each property owner’s needs.

2023 Garden Learning Series - Intro to Native Plants

Join SWALCO, University of Illinois Extension, and Lake County Forest Preserves for its latest webinar! Learn the difference between native and non-native plants and the benefits of using native plants in your landscape. Employee Retention Credit for Businesses
