SAVE THE DATE: National Night Out

National Night Out is BACK! Following the success of its inaugural event in 2022, the Libertyville Police Department invites you to its 2023 celebration, complete with hot dogs, popcorn, a climbing wall, a dunk tank, and plenty of fun and games for the whole family!

Join us from 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, August 1st in Adler Park. Additional details can be found here.

Seeking Nominations for Business Excellence Recognitions

Has a Libertyville business left an impact on you, your organization, or the community? Have you seen an outstanding development or renovation project? Has a local business reinvented itself for success? The Libertyville Economic Development Commission is seeking nominations of businesses for their local contributions to the community and economy!

Path Pavement Maintenance

The Village's contractor is performing path pavement maintenance across Paul Neal Park and New Castle Drive. Work began on July 10th and will last approximately 1-2 weeks, weather permitting. This maintenance focuses on a portion of bike path that is deteriorating and requires full replacement.

IDOT Railroad Crossing Repair Detour

IDOT is repairing a railroad crossing at Milwaukee Avenue and south of Gregg's Landing. This will result in a full road closure at the tracks from July 25th to July 30th.

Southbound traffic will be detoured east via IL-176 to St. Mary's Road, where southbound traffic may head back westbound to Milwaukee Avenue at IL-60. A map of the detour is available here. The detour will be removed as soon as the Illinois Department of Transportation completes the necessary repair work.

IDOT Winchester Road Closure

The Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) will be closing Winchester Road to through traffic from Butterfield Road to IL 21. The closure is scheduled to begin at 6 am on Wednesday, July 26th. Reopening is expected the afternoon of Friday, September 8th.

Tasty Thursdays with Libertyville Recreation

Give new meaning to "food on the go" with Libertyville Recreation's new summer event, Tasty Thursdays! On Thursday, July 27th, grab a plate from Your Sister's Tomato Woodfired Pizza, check out the reptile show from Bio Dome: The Reptile Emporium, and play bags and giant games!

Events are held from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Crawford House on Butler Lake, 817 W. Lake St. For details about the August 3rd and 10th events, click here.

Crane and Rockland Road Closure

The Highlands Subdivision Flood Reduction Project is advancing into the next phase of sewer installations and will require an extended road closure of Crane Blvd and Rockland Rd (between Dymond & Garfield). The closure and detour route began on Thursday, June 8th and are anticipated to remain in place into July.

MainStreet Libertyville's Girls' Night Out

SWALCO Reuse-a-Shoe Collection Drive at Advocate Condell

Clearing out your closet and wondering what to do with your old shoes? Drop them off to SWALCO's Reuse-a-Shoe now through August 31st! All footwear is accepted in all conditions (with the exception of shoes that are wet or moldy, soleless, or with blade or skates attached).

Drop-off is located in the main lobby of Advocate Condell Medical Center at 801 S. Milwaukee Ave. For additional details, visit SWALCO's website here.
