Get Ready for the 42nd Annual Festival of the Arts The 42nd Annual Festival of the Arts returns to Cook Park on August 5th and 6th! The event is a 2-day juried art and music festival with an emphasis on the visual arts, live music performances, children's activities, food vendors, and a beer garden. The 10th Annual MainSweet Dessert Walk will be held in conjunction with The Festival of the Arts from 12 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, August 5th. IDOT Winchester Road ClosureThe Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) has closed Winchester Road to through traffic from Butterfield Road to IL-21. The closure is necessary for a box culvert replacement in Bull Creek as part of the resurfacing of Winchester Road. Reopening is expected the afternoon of Friday, September 8th. Crane and Rockland Road ClosureThe Highlands Subdivision Flood Reduction Project has advanced into the next phase of sewer installations and requires an extended road closure of Crane Blvd and Rockland Rd (between Dymond & Garfield).
