Libertyville Fire Department Open House

The Libertyville Fire Department Open House is back! From 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, October 14th, tour Fire Station 1, 1551 N. Milwaukee Ave., with your friendly Libertyville firefighters. Watch live demonstrations, slide down a fire pole, play giant Jenga, and visit the department's recruitment table!

Hard to boo-lieve that Halloween is right around the corner!

Trick or Treating in the Village of Libertyville will take place from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 31st!

Mayor Johnson Recognizes Hispanic Heritage Month

At the September 12th Village Board meeting, Mayor Johnson issued an official proclamation recognizing September 15th through October 15th, 2023 as Hispanic Heritage Month.

Fall Yard Waste Pick-Up

Leaf pick-up is provided through the Village’s garbage contractor, Groot. Options include subscription landscape waste collection or yard waste stickers for yard waste bags. For details, pricing, and locations, click here.

Residents and landscapers should avoid raking leaves into the street as these leaves clog storm drains and blow into other yards.

MainStreet Libertyville's Girls' Night Out

Rally the girls and head to downtown Libertyville for an unforgettable night of shopping, dining, and fun! From 6 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, October 19th, participating businesses will feature deals, discounts, and specialty drinks.

MainStreet Libertyville's Farmers' Market

Join MainStreet Libertyville in Cook Park for the final Farmers' Market of the 43rd season! From 7 am to 1 pm on Thursday, October 19th, explore local vendors with everything from fresh flowers and produce to snacks and baked goods.

A Friendly Reminder About Garbage and Recycling Bins

The Village would like to issue a friendly reminder to residents and neighbors: Garbage and recycling bins may be placed curbside no earlier than 6:00 pm the day before pick-up. Bins should not be placed in the street at any time as this creates hazards for drivers.

Get Spooky at the Senior Center's Jack O'Lantern Jubilee!

All treats and no tricks here! Join the Libertyville Senior Center, 135 W. Church St, for its Jack O'Lantern Jubilee on Tuesday, October 31st. From 1 pm to 3 pm, enjoy appetizers, desserts, beverages, music, a costume contest, and prizes!
