Local Business GrantsApplications are now being accepted for two local business grant programs. Refer to the grant information page at www.Libertyville.com/BusinessGrants to download the Program Booklet with Application. Approved projects will receive reimbursement upon completion (previously completed work will not be considered). - Business Resiliency Grant: Designed to encourage existing business growth, expansion and sustainability through matching grants of up to $5000, and is limited to customer facing, sales tax producing entities. Potential uses include, but are not limited to, online sales platform development, marketing program development, equipment acquisition, projecting signage, green/sustainable enhancements, etc. The application deadline is ongoing subject to funding availability.
- Facade & Property Enhancement Grant: Provides funding towards renovation of dated or deteriorated existing facades or site conditions on commercial buildings in certain commercially zoned districts outside the downtown (includes C-2 & C-3), and will include matching grants up to $25,000. Projects approved for funding will have 12 months for completion. Applications are due April 1, 2024 for the current grant period, additional grant application rounds may be announced subject to funding.

2024 Garden Learning Series2024’s Garden Learning Series has begun! University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners and Lake County Forest Preserves will be offering programs for gardeners and those wanting to learn to garden. Presentations are scheduled the second Wednesday of each month from 6:00pm-7:30pm. All sessions are free, virtual on Zoom, and are NOT recorded. Registration closes the Tuesday before each session at 11:59pm. Learn more here.

Business Recognition Highlight- Improv PlayhouseImprov Playhouse was recently recognized by the Economic Development Commission based on nominations to the Village's Business Recognition Program. They offer youth and adult acting classes, team building, entertainment, and theater. Improv operates from two downtown locations, including an office-studio at 116 W Lake St. and theater at 735 N Milwaukee Ave.

The Adler Arts Center is proud to present an exhibition of work from local youth artists as a part of their mission to support our area’s budding creatives.
