Oktoberfest in Libertyville

Mark your calendars for Oktoberfest in Libertyville on Friday, September 2oth and Saturday, September 21st! From 5 pm to 11 pm in Mickey Finn's back lot, enjoy live music, a curated selection of seasonal brews, and traditional Bavarian bier sports like Hammerschlager and Masskrugstemmen. Bring the whole crew for family hour from 2 pm to 4 pm on Saturday!

Fire Department Open House-Save the Date!

The Libertyville Fire Department will host their annual Open House from 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, October 12th. Tour Fire Station 1 located at 1551 N. Milwaukee Ave. with your friendly Libertyville firefighters. Watch live demonstrations, slide down a fire pole, play giant Jenga, and visit the department's recruitment table!

Trunk or Treat- Save the Date!

SAVE THE DATE- The Recreation Department's annual trunk or treat event will take place on Saturday, October 26th from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in Adler Park. Join us for a family friendly event with candy, music, games and more. Costumes encouraged but not required.

MainStreet Libertyville's Girls' Night Out

Get your gal pals together and head to downtown Libertyville for an unforgettable night of shopping, dining and fun. Participating businesses will offer deals, discounts and specialty drinks while they are open late for your shopping pleasure. Shop and dine the night away on this special evening just for the girls. Lake County Job Fair

Lake County's largest hiring event of the year will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Lincolnshire Marriott. The event is sponsored by the Lake County Workforce Development in partnership with the Village of Lincolnshire. To learn more click here.

Route 176 Road Resurfacing

The Illinois Department of Transportation began road resurfacing work on Route 176 from Park Place to Garfield Avenue on September 9th. The project consists of ADA improvements, pavement patching and curb and gutter replacement. The project is estimated to be completed in November 2024.
