Nicholas Dowden North Park Soft Opening

Over the last six months Nicholas Dowden Park north has been renovated and we are excited to announce that certain areas of the park opened TODAY! The playground, basketball court and pickleball courts are open for play. The tennis courts are expected to be available soon. The linear skate park is not open at this time due to landscaping establishment.

Please note the following:

  • Only the east entrance to the new parking lot is open due to temporary irrigation systems in place for landscaping
  • Landscaping is still being established, therefore not all areas of the park are open at this time
  • We ask that you please remain off the grass, as it is still growing
  • Please be cautious when using the sidewalks and paths. In some areas the irrigation system must cross paths/sidewalks. Rubber safety mats have been placed in these areas.

We are excited for the community to enjoy this "soft opening" of the park and look forward to all areas fully opening this spring.
