Household Chemical Disposal Mobile Event

The Solid Waste Agency of Lake  County will hold its final household chemical disposal event of the year this Saturday, October 19th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Vernon Hills Metra Station. Trick or Treat on Main Street

Trick or treat through the stores of downtown Libertyville! From 11 am to 2 pm on Friday, October 25th, participating stores on Milwaukee Ave., Cook Ave., Church St., and Lake St. will hand out candy to visitors - just look for the bright orange pumpkin sign! For more details click here.

Village-wide trick or treat will occur on October 31st from 4 pm to 8 pm. 

Sustain Libertyville's Pumpkin Composing Event 

The Libertyville Sustain Commission invites you to its annual Pumpkin Smash composting event! From 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 9th, drop off your pumpkins and gourds in the Adler Pool parking lot for collection to be composted.

You may also bring your own bucket for compost on-site. Residents may collect up to 20 gallons of compost from SWALCO to take home. Shovels will be provided!
