Memorial Day Ceremony

Libertyville's Memorial Day Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 26th. Participants will gather at the Metra Train Station at 9:00 a.m. for a procession to Cook Park and Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. The program in Cook Park will consist of music from the Libertyville High School Band, presentations by Mayor Johnson, representatives of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, and high school essay content winners. Non-emergency Village offices and Village Hall will be closed on Memorial Day.

FY 25/26 Budget in Brief

The Village is pleased to present the Budget-in-Brief for the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Budget. The Budget-in-Brief is meant to provide a simplified overview of the 350+ page budget; it includes highlights, a breakdown of taxes, revenue and expenditures, capital, and other important and interesting information. Construction Around Town

Please be advised that construction is currently underway in several locations within the Village. IDOT is performing ADA improvements along IL-176 from Dymond Rd. to Fifth St. and Lake County DOT is currently resurfacing Butterfield Rd. To learn more about these and other projects click here.

Household Chemical Waste Collection Event
