pumpkin smash

Sustain Libertyville's Pumpkin Composting Event

The Libertyville Sustain Commission invites you to its annual Pumpkin Smash composting event! From 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 15th, drop off your pumpkins and gourds in the Adler Pool parking lot for collection to be composted.

You may also bring your own bucket for compost on-site. Residents may collect up to 20 gallons of compost from SWALCO to take home.

fall yard waste

Fall Yard Waste Pick-up

Leaf pick-up is provided through the Village’s garbage contractor, Groot. Options include subscription landscape waste collection or yard waste stickers for yard waste bags. For details, pricing, and locations, click here.

Residents and landscapers should avoid raking leaves into the street as these leaves clog storm drains and blow into other yards.
