Memorial Day Ceremony

The Village's Memorial Day ceremony will be held on Monday, May 29th. Participants will gather at the Metra Train Station at 9 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. parade to Cook Park. The program will continue at Cook Park and will include music from the High School band, presentations by Mayor Weppler, and representatives of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Hidden Gems Garden Walk - June 24th

Hidden Gems Garden Walk

Town and Country Garden Club of Libertyville presents, Hidden Gems Garden Walk. It will take place June 24th from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM rain or shine. The walk will feature five beautiful homes and seven townhome gardens. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the walk. Tickets are available at the June 8th and June 22nd Libertyville Farmer's Market, Libertyville Village Hall, How Impressive!, and Eclectic Design Source. For more information contact Joyce at 847-362-8357 or email at Lmoosegeib@comcast.net. Proceeds from the fundraiser are used to support the beautification of Libertyville with local plantings. The Club also has a plot in the community gardens to supply fresh produce to the local food pantry.

New Residential Garbage Rates - June 1, 2017

The residential garbage rates will increase by 3% effective June 1st. This may be a good opportunity to re-assess the service level needed at your home. The residential franchise agreement with Groot, offers varying levels of service to fit all household sizes and needs. The service levels and updated rates can be found on our Village website at www.libertyville.com/garbage.
