Rockland Road Construction Meeting

On June 27 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. the Village will be hosting an informational meeting at the Civic Center regarding construction that is scheduled to begin this summer on Rockland Road from Milwaukee Avenue to Riverside Drive. The project includes the replacement of a water main and the installation of a large storm sewer on Rockland Road. Please consider attending this important meeting.

Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate with your friends and neighbors on the 4^th of July. The fun begins with a concert of patriotic music performed by the Village Band at 7:30 p.m. at the Butler Lake Band Shell. A spectacular fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. For safety reasons, Lake Street will close to pedestrians and vehicle traffic at 9:00 p.m. before the show. Parking will be available at Butler Lake Park (residents only), the main commuter lot, both parking garages and Butterfield School.

Session 2 Swimming Lessons Begins Monday, June 24

The second session for swimming lessons for kids begins on Monday, June 24 at Adler Pool. Session two consists of 4 days (Monday June 24-Thursday 27) and 3 days Monday July 1-Wednesday July 3. There are various swim lesson levels for kids 6 months- age 3, ages 3-5 and age 6+.

Summer Fun in Libertyville

There are plenty of summer programs, classes and camps offered for Libertyville youth through the Recreation Department. Examples include:

Summer Day Camp at Adler Park (ages: grades K-7) through August 9
Teen Travelers Biking Camp at Adler Park (ages: 11-14) through August 2
SafetyTown (ages: grades K-3) through July 19
Camp Adventure (ages 5-6) through July 19
Sunshine Kidz (ages 3 & 4) through July 19
Dance, Theatre and Music classes (ages 2-12)
Sports Camps (pre-school, age 6+, teens) through August 16
