11th Annual Dog Days of Summer

Hosted by Libertyville's local Knights of Columbus, the annual fundraising event is celebrating its 11th year featuring Dock Dogs National Canine Aquatic Jumping competition. Dog Days of Summer will take place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 12, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14 in Cook Park and along Church Street.

Downtown Parking Improvements

The parking lot on the east side of Milwaukee Avenue, just north of E. Cook Street has recently been paved and is open for use. When parking in this lot, please note posted time zones. The Village has been diligently working for several years with property owners to gain authorizations to complete this work. We’d like to thank those adjoining businesses and residents for their patience during construction, including: Rolland’s Jewelers, Townee Square Restaurant, Studio West Photography, Edie Boutique, BeeLine Communications, the Island Tap, the Christian Science Reading Room, RC Contractors/Ryder Homes, and RE Decker Surveyors.

Session 3 Swimming Lessons

The third of four sessions for swimming lessons will start on Monday, July 8 at Adler Pool. Session three consists of 4 days (Monday July 8-Thursday July 11) and 4 days Monday July 15-Thursday July 18. There are various swim lesson levels for kids ages 6 months-3 years old, 3-5 years old and 6+ years old. Sign up here.
